I’m 10 weeks pregnant and suffer with Anxiety/Panic and Depression, and feel so alone with my symptoms…

Anyone out there can relate and have any good stories?

hi, yes i did, it completely ok. i actually stayed on my effexor xr while i was pregnant with my last baby.
i felt that it was better for me to be "sane" then to go off the medications.
dont think you are alone, there are alot more people then you probably think out there.
just try and stay calm, remember then dont last more then 15-20 minutes usually, and breathing really helped me.
i chose tostay on my meds though, so i found it alot easier to deal with my anxiety this way.
and my baby boy is perfectly fine.
i also have two other children, one i wasnt on anything with, and the second one, it took me about 5 months to get off the meds with her, and i wish i had stayed on them,
maybe meds are soemthing you should think about.
good luck!
and you are not alone

I suffer from bipolar disorder. At the time I was pregnant with my first child, I was going through a horrible depression. Mixed witrh extreme morning sickness and the depression, I often wondered if I was going to make it. I had to make the decision to take meds during my pregnancy to keep from completely falling apart. I am pregnant now (23 weeks) and knowing how my mood was with my first son, I am being closely monitored and all is going well so far. I understand about feeling alone..I really do. Talk to your doctors and let them know what is going on, with their collaboration you can make it through. In the end, you’ll have your baby…take care.

I have not gotten pregnant yet. Though, if you want to ease your feelings try some aromatherapy. Do not combine all of the recipies together though.

Panic blends: http://www.aromaweb.com/recipes/panic.asp

Depression blends: http://www.aromaweb.com/recipes/depression.asp

Calming/Relaxing blends: http://www.aromaweb.com/recipes/srelax.asp

Here is the link for the "recipe box" where you can find really good recipies: http://www.aromaweb.com/recipes/default.asp
