I am very fearful of death and my doctor just prescribed me take klonopin medication today. Can anyone please tell me whether or not this medication really helps to treat panic attacks and fears.

I can. I take Klonopin. It has been a life-saver for me. I’ve had panic attacks my entire adult life but didn’t know what they were until recently. I don’t know what triggers them nor do I know why I have them but they are here and they are real. If I take a Klonopin I am back to myself within 20-30 minutes. I’ve had panic attacks so bad that I thought I was having a heart attack.
You can try other methods like walking around the block, breathing deep, etc… but those things don’t work for me. I may settle down for a few minutes but the panic comes right back.
I hate it and I would trade my right arm to not have them but I thank God every day for Klonopin. It has saved my life.
Good luck to you!

It can. It’s better than xanax.
