Can panic attacks be hormonal?

I started having panic attacks 2 years ago. I started to think maybe they came on due to my hormones (seemed to occur around beginning or end of menstrul period). I have a 7 month old daughter now and three weeks ago I started having them again. Since I don’t have a period again yet (was exclusively breastfeeding untill about a month ago) I was thinking it could be due to hormone levels again but can’t tell because I have no period to gauge it against. Any advice …

I have panic attacks…. there not normal. You have an anxiety disorder. Do u drink any caffeinated beverages?

Yes very much so!!
Anxiety is one of the most common symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Plus, after giving birth your progesterone takes a huge dive– progesterone has a calming, relaxing effect.

ok first it is perfectly normal 1 in 10 people have them you cant cure them without drugs (talk to a doctor) the main things you can do is use your confidence when you wake up in the morning just say i am not going to panic if you do have one take 10 deep breaths or try to disrract yourself eg: read a book if your at school or work get on with as much work as you can you will lose yourself in them after a few months or even years if your realy woried talk to yur doctor
