How can i stop having panic attacks?
Monday, March 1st, 2010just the other day i had a really bad panic attack i felt like i was dieing it was horrible is there anyway i can stop this happining its happend twice nw also it used to happen when i was younger when my dad left x

Don’t bottle up your emotions. Find someone to confide in, such as a family member or a friend. Focus on the positive aspects of your life. If you feel an attack coming on, try to distract yourself with a pleasurable task.
Also don’t depend on others for reassurance. Tell yourself you’re not dying or going mad. It’s better to rely on yourself than others.
Accept and face your feelings during an attack. They will become less intense.
