Can dental anesthesia cause a heart attack or panic attack?
no. its a very light anasthetic. so it is unlikely to cause a heart attack, however, you will feel the adrenaline pumping through your body, and may shake slightly. this could cause a panick attack.
If your anxous ask for a sedative. i had one today, and im a nervous person at the dentist.

If you have high blood pressure then there is a different novacaine (ex:polocaine or carbocaine) than what they use for everyone else (ex:septocaine) Carbocaine doesn’t contain the synthetic adrenaline that septocaine does so it’s less likely to speed up your heart-rate.

I don’t thinks so. I had a panic attack because i thought i was gonna die! lol that was only because they had me hooked up with a finger splint to a heart rate monitor, And me being stupid only associate those sort of things with some one dying in the hospital! lmao i know i’m and idiot.

If the dentist accidentally injects in the vein you can end up with your heart feeling likes it fluttering and you can feel light headed. Thats why dentists need to aspirate the syringe to make sure they are not in a vein before injecting.

Possible but unlikely and usually the only time someone would have a bad reaction is if they already have heart attacks or get panic attacks. A normal, healthy person will feel fine having local anesthesia.
