i have what my dr calls "mini panic attacks" and i was wondering does anyone else feel like..disconnected from the world when you get anxious? like you feel dizzy and sort of like..out of it? idk its weird..

Panic attacks are different for everyone and can be very light or very intense. I have had ones so bad to where I feel like my heart is going to stop, I am sweating, the room is spinnning, shaking, ect.. and then there are times where I just feel uneasy and or a little anxious. I am being treated for mine. I am glad to hear that you are at least seeing a doctor for them. Good Luck.

I suffer from panic attacks and I do feel disconnected when it happens. I don’t "run" like some people, I simply retreat into my own head and I don’t look at anyone and I can’t concentrate, and exist in my own little world until the panic resides..

yes that feeling and all the others are horrible. going for a very brisk walk helps. or deep breathing. watch your lower stomach expand when you breathe in and contract your abs when you exhale through your slightly open lips. or pace up and down a hall or around your bed shaking your hands like you want them to fly off your arms. good luck
