so im starting at a new skl. ive got work to do. new friends but trying to keep in contact with old ones. and im just stressed and panicking about everything. i keep getting this overpowering feeling im ill and im gunna die. every evening. i basically get a panick attack. its terrible. and then i dont get much sleep. i have VERY bad sleeping problems i mean i only get 3 or 4 hours sleep on average and do all nighters in the holiday and go nocturnal HELP!

There is a good chance you are getting worked up (and into panic attack stage) over something that really doesn’t exist. Many people have panic attacks because they distort something. Or they blow things out of proportion in their mind. Sometimes this can be obvious and sometimes its not.

Try to identify precisely what is causing your stress. Is it a specific situation? A certain person? Does it happen at the same place or time each day?

Don’t worry about dying. You won’t. Many people who suffer from panic attacks feel like they are going to die, but they are not in danger. Panic attacks can make you feel that way. You probably just need to adjust a little to the new situation.

Also, the best way to avoid worry and panic attacks is to focus your mind on something else. If you feel the situation coming on, try to focus yourself on something other than what may be causing anxiety. Just talk to a friend about anything. It will probably calm you.

Take up Yoga. i mean seriously, it will help you so much. it has helped me, and all my friends. eath a fresh green salad a day. We dont realize how much better food will make us feel. it goes into our phsyce. and dont worry about your friends, if they are REAL friends, they will totally understand your life, and that you have lots on your hands. Dont worry so much, and Please take up Yoga, you will not believe the difference it will make in your life. also, you can go to a healthfood store and ask for homeopathic medicine to calm your nerves. they also have great sleep aid, not habit forming of course.
Dont worry, you’ll get out of this.
Dont worry be happy :)
Abundant Blessings

Learning how to deal with stress is a part of growing up. We all have stress in our lives. Here are seven tips that will help you

Be available to talk. Have one on one time with your parents. Let them know how you feel.

Have healthy escapes from the daily grind of school, like the benefits of taking the dog out for a jog, hiking a trail, or just going out for a walk. Physical activity is known to relieve stress. Creativity will also help to relieve stress. Keep a journal or diary or another creative hobby.

Laughter can get rid of stress just as much as exercise and is another healthy escape.Find comic or humorous books in your home. have get-togethers with friends. Rent movies with a comedy theme.learn to laugh at yourself, using humor to take the stress away from normal human mistakes that can happen.
Have some confidence and self-esteem when you do something good. Make this a habit by finding something you did right ~ everyday. Keep things in perspective. This is an important part of relieving stress. Taking a situation and looking at it from different points of view and seeing how it relates in the whole scheme of life is a skill you will need to learn. You will be able to reduce your stress load if you are able to ‘let go’ of the little stress triggers we encounter in our lives.

focus on the positive aspects of a situation. try and list the benefits and opportunities created, rather than the problems. Even the most unpleasant experiences can lead to positive growth and outcomes.

Be wary of negative roadblocks, do not learn how to deal with stress by turning to drugs and alcohol. That’s not the answer.

well, you did the first step. you realized that you have a problem. the next step is to have your parents take you to your regular doctor for a check up just to make sure that there is nothing physically wrong with you. while there please tell the doctor what you have been experiencing. there is medication out there that can help you. you don’t state your age so i am going to assume that you are probably a teenager. the teen years are hard enough on there own without having to move, make new friends while keeping in touch with the old friends. the lack of sleep is a problem that once you are able to handle the stress you should start sleeping better. i also suffer from panic attacks and this is what i was taught in how to handle it.
1. pull your shoulders down from your head. keep them there.
2. very slowly breathe in through your nose to a count of 8.
3. hold to a count of 4.
4. release slowly through the mouth to a count of 8.
5. repeat until you start to feel relaxed.
once you learn to do this breathing trick you can do it any where any
any time and know one will know that you are doing it. you can also do it iat night when you go to bed and it should help you to relax enough to go to sleep. although i still think that you need to be seen by your doctor. also during a panic or anxiety attack do not consume anything with caffeine in it. that means soda, coffee, tea, chocolate, etc. drink only ice cold water during the episode and for about an hour after the episode to help you. it does help tremendously. i Wish You all the Best!
