How can i get through a panic attacks??????????
hello all i was wondering if anyone has any ideas how to get your self out of a panic attack. I use to have little ones sometimes but now there are often and they lost long too i cant seem to break free and it scares me i need help please………………………
I cured my panic attacks by taking a daily dose of fish oil. It takes about 2 weeks before you notice a difference. Do some research on it. You’ll find that a lot of people are taking it because it really works.

The first thing you do is say to yourself "It’s just a panic attack and it will pass" that will make you calm down somewhat by just acknowledging it. Secondly, move to a different location or get out of the store or whatever. A change in environment helps. Good luck.

my mom used to sit down and breath in a small paper bag. the bag really helped her.

Try meditation, and other relaxation tecniques. I used to have the same problem and thats how I handled it cuz I didnt want on medication for it.

I read once about the rubber band technique. You wear a rubber band around your wrist and when you panic you snap it.. to help snap yourself out of it.
When I get really anxious I try to find a quiet place close my eyes and do some slow breathing and visualization of a happy place or calm through or sometimes just picture my love in my head.
The problem with the panic attack is your nervous system is racing.. your breathing, your heart etc. So you need to find a technique that helps you to gain control and calm everything back down to normal. It is different for every person, but maybe you got an idea from mine.

As a fellow sufferer of anxiety and panic attacks, I assure you that being on a good anti-anxiety medication changes your life. For the better!! How wonderful not to have to worry about having a panic attack!!
See a doctor. It’s a very common problem these days. I think Klonopin is a miracle drug. I’ve been on Klonopin for over 10 years, and I haven’t had to go up on them. Same amount still keeps me with calm nerves. Too bad some of us aren’t born that way!! Good luck to you.

seek medical attention as soon as you can as things are getting worse for you also deep breathing can help.therapy also and look at the answeres that ppl have put down .panic attacks are scarry and not to be taken lightly

a family member suffers from them, so all i can suggest is what helps him. sit down where ever you are, find something to focus on.. an object, not a thought, and get yourself a phrase to repeat to yourself while you breath slower.

3. Hold your ears and say "ooooooosaaaa"

The first thing is to get you a good doctor or go to the neighborhood mental health clinic for assessment and meds. If you are not one to take meds, after a diagnosis, go to a herbal store and get some alternative methods of dealing with the attacks, if that is what they are.
I have had my days of anxiety attacks when I would feel like I am short of passing out. Now I have learned to relax immediately and think about something pleasant, taking my mind off any stressful situations. Once you learn about what turns these attacks on, you will be more able to handle them and possibly turn them off.
I hope all is well and you get the help you need. Remember, learning to relax is the number one key to recovery.

every body here suggested u some anti depression meds, but along with that i would suggest u to take some health tonic. may be u r lacking of any vitamins. vit B12 is very essential for human beings. consult a good doctor and take a good heamaglobin tonic. this can make ur nervous system strong enough and can make u feel better.
apart from this take food at right time, do little bit of exercise.drink lots of water, take a walk, try to be always happy.and keep faith in god.
