I keep having them and im 25 I want it to stop so I dont die of one when im 50 years old!! I have a phobia that I want to overcome but it seems that my phobia seems to always win!! Because I cant control myself when I get a panic attack!! What can I do is there anyone that has conquered a phobia!!?? Anyone that can give me helpful advice thanks!!

Sounds like you need some counseling. You need to talk to someone about this. I started getting horrible panic attacks back in 2006 and it took depression medication and a few years before I could honestly say that I haven’t had one in over a year. The most important thing you can do is realize that you are actually still breathing, find out what the root of the problem is, and seek some professional help.. That’s what they’re there for :)

Practice breathing exercises.

If you’re feeling anxious take "Kalms"… I use them during exam stress, they’re herbal and work well.

I heard when you have a panic attack you need to pick a focal point and concentrate on it until it goes away. Like for example; look at a chair and just think over and over, ‘the chair is brown. the chair has four legs. the chair is in the kitchen.’ etc.

I know this is annoying advice. I would hate someone to say this to me. But you;ve got to ask a doctor.

he may suggest methods where you change the way you think about the phobia. instead of being scared see it as a challenge. or possibly breathing techniques.

I have a phobia of frogs, seems silly but i do, and unfortunately i have found nothing to help but avoidance. It isnt nice because when it rains I am to scared to go outside and I havent walkedon grass for years but its what works for me.

Dude you gotta take my advice and go to a doctor and if its about your phobia try to look at it in a different way and try to face your fears. I know it sounds hard, but try to overcome that and don’t let anyone or anything put you in fears. Try to put on some relaxing music and don’t overstress cuz its not good for your health. Worrying is never worth it no matter what. Also, try some deep breathing exercises that works really well, but remember to see a doctor.

Panic attacs are more common than you think , not to make light of them. I have never had one yet a friend is haunted by bad bad ones.
Therapy is working. Dr’s told her to exercise, it helps your body unwind. It works. Jog,walk fast work out whatever really kicks your but in the gym,or in the living room, whatever :)
I would say, talk about your phobia, you sound smart and you deserve to live.

my mom had the same problem so she took a few days off work and we sent her to a high quality hotel and let her do wat ever she wanted to relax. So all you gotta do is relax and see your doctor
