Hey, I understand how you feel…
The uncomfortable symptoms like sweaty palms, "jelly" legs, extreme alertness, "impending doom" feeling and the fight-or-flight response.
I’ve been there. I’m an ex-victim. Sometimes the deep breathing or distraction techniques doesn’t work – a full-blown panic or anxiety attack happens later.
Sometimes you experience panic attack out of the blue and such.
Do NOT buy Panic Away, Linden Method, EasyCalm or the Panic Puzzle. They do NOT work – I’ve tried them and their solutions are similar – it DOESN’T WORK.
Medications do NOT work – I was under many antidepressants (Prozac, Lexapro, Paxil and Zoloft) and anti-anxiety medications (Ativan, Klonopin, and Xanax) but my condition was the same – no improvement at all.
The only program that really work is The Panic Attack Solution. It’s found by an ex-victim. You can check out his old blog in his official website to read up some useful tips.
But the package is the best – it teaches 17 powerful techniques and the real solution to panic attacks. I’ve bought it and it really helped me – it’s the BEST anti-anxiety package or book I’ve read.
His theory really makes sense and it works effectively!
You will learn why your panic attacks can happen without warning sometimes; why having stimulant causes panic attacks; and many-many other useful tips!

The more you think about panic attacks or the more you try not to think about them the more they will occur. You need to accept these panic attacks and try to keep yourself calm during these times, figure out something that you can do when you are having one, call up a friend, anything that will help distract your mind. you need to figure out what is the cause of your attacks, what is it that sends you into one? For me it was the thought of death for example. You should schedule an appointment with your doctor and discuss some antianxiety medications to help you with this process. Also, a thereapist can help you learn ways to cope with anxiety and get control over it.

my wife suffers these distressing attacks, though not often now thank god. when her doctor diagnosed them as panic attacks, he prescribed PROPANANOL, excuse the spelling. since taking them and following advice about applying pressure to pressure points in her wrists and controlling her breathing, she is much better. she still gets them but now not so often

I had them too, for about six yrs. And I’m here and fine so first things first, know that you absolutely can get it under control. Acknowledging that is the problem is the biggest first step you can make. So after that, educate yourself about them, and realize they are not endangering you other than your peace of mind. Learn how to calm yourself. Meditation is helpful. As well as a technique called EFT which you can learn to do yourself at home. A ‘trick’ I learned is that the amygdala of the brain, where every panic attack starts, is also directly connected to the olfactory nerve (scent nerve). Go to any drug store and in the section where they have lotions and skin creams look for a stick of cocoa butter. It is very cheap like two dollars. Comes in a pocket size tube. When you feel the panic come on, smell it. It smells like chocolate and it will help shut down the symptoms. A bottle of vanilla extract can be used too.. rub a little bit into your hand and smell it. Not as effective smelling in the bottle because of the alcohol smell. Anything that has a warm cozy smell can help stop the attack from getting rolling. Read Panic to Power by Lucinda Bassett. Excellent book. Contact me any time I’ll help if I can.

Stop eating MSG, get exercise, NO CAFFEINE, and avoid refined sugar.
I used to get them REALLY bad, but I have a much better time avoiding them, managing them, or at least keeping them from becoming distressfully uncomfortable. I dont eat MSG. That sounds really simple, like you could just stop eating chinese or something- unfortunately thats not the case.
MSG is a flow agent, its also used to inhance the perceived taste of a food, and it can be added in the "spices" or "natural and unnatural flavor" added to foods without being sited. MSG contains toxins which are stimulants, and cannot be readily metabolized out of the body. Instead they are stored in the tissue, and some people who have a natural tendency to panic attacks will find that those episodes are increased as a result. There are many other effects associated with too much MSG- the sad part is that it is one of the most highly consumed "spices" in america- people just dont know it.
For example, anything low fat, anything low calorie, anything in a can, a box, a bag, or wrapped in plastic- anything unsalted (even BUTTER) contains MSG. Its even included in the flavorings in baby formula for God’s sake. Its in most salad dressings and canned soups. Especially ranch. Its even added to the natural flavor and color inhancors injected into meats we buy in the store.
Really reasearch it out and do all you can to avoid it. It took about 3-4 weeks of avoiding it for my body to get rid of it enough to me to feel the effects- but now ANY TIME i slip up and eat regular food for a couple days I pay for it for a good week or two.
If you’re a woman you’ll find tha tyou have more attacks closer to your period- they are very much hormone related. They can be avoided by diet and exercise, or at least weakened.
I’d encourage you to give it a go. It has REALLY made a drastic change in my life. Its a lot of work, and you’re forced to cook more and eat more foods that come from the dirt, but you really dont miss much. waaaaay worth it.

Thy can be put under control so see you doc.
But what you want to be doing is try to think about what you think is coursing them, as I was the same when I was a lot younger
It will be something that you don’t like doing, but you have to do it .
Something like work or something in you social life.
You think about it and if you are at all like me ,it was my job and the men that I had to work with. But whatever it is don’t just think you have to live with it . and if you are a young man and you don’t get it seen to you can end up living on hand outs for the rest of your life.
You take a grip of this thing and fight back ,as that’s your detergent, you you ,you ,and this is what an Indian psychiatrist
told me . But in the mean time have something to help you get your head Straight again, and don’t be afraid about taking about it
This thing is not your doing it the wrong doings of the
way that we are made to run are lives with no time for life, all work and no play DOES make Jack a dull boy.
Now this thing can be lots of thing as in my own case I was partly deaf and was not aware of it. So have an open mind about it.

1. If you get panic attacks, sign up for the free emails on the panicaway website.
2. Try doing Byron Katie’s "The Work"
3. Check for a gluten sensitivity. There is a huge link between gluten and depression and anxiety.
4. http://www.foodforthebrain.org is a charity and it has a free questionnaire you can fill out in order to get feedback on what you might be lacking in your diet.
Best wishes.
