My heart beats fast to the point where I feel like i’m going to faint, but once I have a sit, and get my nerves under control i’m okay…do you think this is a panic attack, anxiety attack, or is it just my nerves?

Sounds very much like a panic attack, you can get some meds from your doctor to help with them.

If you can feel your heartbeat in your chest then what you had is called palpitations. (caffeine can cause them in some people.)

Panic attacks normally have palpitations included, but also include panic, hence the name.

Sounds like an anxiety attack, but you didn’t state what was going on at the time of your attack. Both have similar symptoms, main difference is anxiety is usually caused by stress where a panic attack is caused more by a perceived threat. Example, you can have an anxiety attack when you have to give a speech, and are nervous about your ability to give a good speech, but it would become a panic attack if you thought the audience was going to throw things at you.

Well a panic attack and an anxiety attack are pretty much the same thing.. but I have had 2 panic attacks and mine have come from being too paranoid about something. A mild one could just consist of your heart rate getting faster and feeling dizzy or you feel like your going to pass out or throw up. My first panic attack my speech was imparied plus feeling like I was going to faint. When you have another panic attack just sit down somewhere and breath slowly and think about something that will make you laugh or calm you down. That usually works for me….I hope I was any help. If they come too often you should see a doctor
