I have such chest pains I’m in agony! Before I get those generic "call 911" answers:
-I’m sure i’ve had these pains before but not this severe
-I have a history of panic attacks
-I am a healthy 19 y/o male, ECG shows no heart defects
Thanks!!

A heart attack pain is a heavy, sharp pain that feels like someone is sitting on your chest that weighs 400lbs. They also have a pain that radiates down the left arm and sometimes around the shoulder blade. In acid reflux it can be a close second, but there isn’t the heavy sitting on the chest feeling and usually no radiating pain either. I know that a panic attack definitely feels like a heart attack when you go through it.If you can try and "talk yourself down" by telling yourself that there’s nothing wrong and try to keep your mind off of what’s physically hurting sometimes it will help bring you out of the attack.I hope you’re understanding this.I’m telling you this from experience. Why hasn’t your doctor been working with you on the attacks? I know there are medications you can take if you want to.

don’t think its a heart attack, acid reflux is similar to indigestion, its like acid burning your throat and panic attacks can give pains in chest – take bicarb – 2 teaspoons in half a glass of warm water, that will help if its reflux

both have same pain, but MI often has rapid heart rate and low oxygen at resting. Need BP cuff and oximeter to check out.
