Panic attacks come in various forms. You did not mention your symtoms. If it is extreme pain, breathe into a paper bag. The best thing to do is find the root cause of these attacks and eliminate it.

Scary!!! It happens out of nowhere. I breathe fast and it feels like I am dying. No other way to explain it. It goes away by itself.

I have had panick attacks since i was 18, they are very scary and sometimes hard to deal with everyday activities because you constantly wait for the other attack to hit. My symptoms are dizzy, shakey, numb, heart races. I was diagnosed with a chemical imbalance and need medications to help with them, GL

All over hot and exteme panic, hence teh name panic attack. I took medication for a long time but now I just deal with them. Try to distract yourself although this doesnt always work. It will go teh same as it came, in an instant.

I feel like it’s hard to catch my breath, and my that my heart is racing and about to pound through my chest.

I don’t think there’s an immediate cure besides removing yourself from the situation that brought it on.

I thought I was going to die! I had no idea what was happening. I started breathing hard and my chest felt tight and my heart was racing. I thought I was having a heart attack or something. It was really freaky! It just so happens I had just started a new job and bought a new house and had problems at home and all those things caught up with me at once. I started taking zoloft. Just a small dosage to help with it until things calmed down at work and I kicked the crappy boyfriend out and now I don’t have problems with it anymore.
