Already posted but no answers quickly enough:

I have been getting sleep panic attacks at sleepovers, mostly in double beds, but not in my house. Only once in my house in a double bed. And it is horrible. It has been going on for a few years and since I have finally discovered what it is exactly I think I need to tell my mum to cure it. But my mum and me don’t get on that well and it is Really difficult to tell her about my problem. I don’t know how to start it at all. The only chance I have is tonight or next Wednesday night because my dad is out so I can talk to my mum alone. So how can i tell her and how can i cure my problem? I’m basically scared of going to sleepovers now and even at my own house. I just want it cured! So please please help me. I’m 13 by the way. Help!!!

as a mother who does not always get along with her son i am here to tell you that when a child is in trouble or has a problem moms are always there to try and help. go and talk to your mom. tell her exactly what is going on and how long it has been going on and that you want help to overcome it. that is what we have different type of doctors for and therapists. there is help out there for you. believe me you can trust your mother to help you out because no matter how you get along with her she loves you very much and always will. just be straight forward with her.

i have panic attacks and i use to have them in my sleep too
i found the only thing they can do is send you to see a counsellor and try and find the under lying problem.
they can give you beta blockers to stop the physical symptoms but with you only being young they may not give them to you.

just sit down and tell your mum the truth, ask for her help. i never use to get alone with my mum when i was in my teens either, but now we are really close.

aw im sorry. just come out with it. wether or not you guys get along doesn’t really matter. this is something that’s affecting your life and you want to stop it. since your not old enough she has to help you, because she’s your legal guardian. just sit her down and say ‘look mom, i know were not on the greatest term’s but i’ve got a problem and it needs to be helped.’ then explain what it is, I’m sure she won’t mind at all. your her daughter, just suck it up and do it.
hope i helped :]
