how to deal with a panic attack?
when you start panicking and feeling sick and shaking, how do you calm yourself down? what do you do?
I found that all relaxation and breathing techniques for the prevention of anxiety attacks only worked to a degree. Often I would get one moment of anxiety/panic under control, only to be anxious again soon afterwards.
Fortunately I stumbled across an online anxiety reduction method last year ( http://www.anxietyreliefmethod.com ). The method enabled me to prevent anxiety attacks and even stop fearing them which was half the struggle. The technique has been successful for many people and I personally recommend it but each to their own.
I hope you find your solution to this serious problem.

It’s really hard and I haven’t found anything guaranteed to help, but for me I usually just try to concentrate on slowing down my breathing, and thinking of something to distract me. The shaking feeling usually makes me feel so weak that I go make something to eat- which can be bad because I’m not always hungry, but it does take my mind off the panic.
A cup of tea helps sometimes too,

focus on breathing deeply and don’t let myself hyperventilate

Take 10 deep breaths and concentrate all your energy and focus on just feeling the tips of your fingers.

It’s tough but try to think it through and talk yourself out of it. Take deep breaths and try to think of something else.
