I am a sophomore in High School and I’ve been having panic attacks. Last week I suddenly was shaking, couldn’t breathe, had to go to the bathroom, and dizzy. It was the first time that happened to me and I was really scared. I thought it was never going to happen again but on Monday I ran out of class and to the bathroom due to one and Tuesday I also experienced a panic attack and run to the bathroom again. Today I had two. They seem to be getting worse as time goes on. I’ve just told my dad about it today and only one of my friends knows about the attacks. What I need to know is:
1. how can I deal with an attack when it happens again?
2. How should I tell my teachers so I can leave the class when they happen?
3. Where should I go during an attack?

I used to get a lot of panic attacks and suffer from lots of anxiety, I travel a lot and hate flying however because of my business I have to to keep it growing. I have been using NLP techniques and meditation and it seems to work pretty well however I have been looking at this site and reading all the success stories of people curing their panic attacks and anxiety naturally.

You should tell your parents immediately. You can get help for this and get the attacks under control. You cannot handel this all by yourself. Your parents will know what to do.

You should probably talk to your teachers alone, maybe after class and tell them that you’re suffering from panic attacks, that way they won’t question you when you bolt out of the classroom. You could also have you dad write a note of some sort. There isn’t a "right" way to deal with panic attacks, it’s a horrible feeling (trust me, I know). The best thing to do is probably go see a doctor about it. There’s medication and therapy available out there if you need it.

Stress is the chief cause of most anxiety, panic and social phobias. But stress is not just about feeling tense and wired. It’s about the triggering of our hard-wired "Fight or Flight Response." And it’s about the release of toxic hormones — drip, drip drip — into our system. These hormones seep into our blood and tissues where, over time, they set up conditions for "attacks" of fear, anxiety and panic.

Symptoms of anxiety attacks such as dizziness, nausea or increased heart rate can occur at anytime so learning how to stop panic attacks is essential. Overwhelming feelings of anxiety and worry can often times be stressful and unpleasant to experience. The following are proven methods that have worked for many people to finally overcome such episodes from occurring.
The first thing you need to do is actually address the issue or problem that is making you anxious. While you can certainly avoid or ignore it, there’s no telling when you’ll have a panic attack again so it’s best to confront it. While many often associate feelings of fear and anxiety as being negative, they can also be used to your advantage when they are put into action to rectify the issue.

Another effective method that may be a little more difficult to implement is by replacing any destructive thoughts with ones that are more positive. It’s important to note that negative thoughts will only sustain panic attacks. It’s quite natural for many to imagine the worst case scenario so be sure to take a minute to question your thoughts and whether they really have a realistic chance of occurring.

Taking small steps is better than not taking any at all so anything you can do to rectify the issue will help a great deal. Then as you find a solution to the problem, you know how to effectively deal with it in the future should it ever occur again. Implementing these above steps will require patience on your part but the effort will be worth it as you learn how to effectively stop panic and anxiety attacks.

Do you want to find that cure?
Do you struggle with panic attacks?
Do you want them to stop so you can live a normal life again?

Well, there is a cure and you can stop your panic attacks now!
