How to stop Panic Attacks ?
I have had 2 panic attacks in 2 months and they always happen in school,i dont really know why i have them, ive tried to speak to someone but they only made thing worse i think !
Is there a way i can stop them or control them ?
Get therapy or counseling with a specialist, before starting to take pills, it depends on how old you are too,, I believe you’re still too young too take pills,
Anxiety attacks are always related to fear (anger) and sex issues. Try to make some constant exercise first, get counseling and if you just broke up with someone recently that could be it, if not try to identify what situations trigger your panic attacks. I get them from visiting lawyers, yes it´s weird, I´´m a MD ,and got divorced because she dumped me, now after 4 years my ex wants to keep everything so after the courthouse hearings I get them, though i´ve managed to control them, and that day i come back home get some really strong exercise, get in face book, go out to the cinema and when i get home, i get a real good night sleep. My girlfriend is far away now so i got no one to talk to either, so i got no choice than to get over it alone..Without pills,, pills are the last resort you should take.. If the problem is in your house,, same solution,, first counseling .then exercise or whatever pleases you,,painting etc etc, and pills last,, if yu can get sex… much better !! use protection though..

find the cause -avoid caffeine, exercise daily, focus on the positive, see a counselor, and have your doctor determine if there’s a medical cause.

Breathe slowly( in and out) into a paper (not plastic) bag. This will cause a build up in carbon dioxide and help you not to hyperventilate (breathe too quickly). Hyperventilating can cause cramps and make you panic more.
Anadlu’n ara deg i’r bag papur yw’r ateb.

It is good you are trying to understand this when it is first starting to happen to you. Lots of people let it go on and on and it can get worse. Now that you are still young you can try to nip it in the bud. According to Wikipedia:
"Cognitive behavioral treatments, (which are usually talk base treatments) are considered the first line of treatment. The first part of therapy is largely informational; many people are greatly helped by simply understanding exactly what panic disorder is, and how many others suffer from it. Many people who suffer from panic disorder are worried that their panic attacks mean they’re ‘going crazy’ or that the panic might induce a heart attack. ‘Cognitive restructuring’ (changing one’s way of thinking) helps people replace those thoughts with more realistic, positive ways of viewing the attacks"
To get this kind of help you would simply need to talk with a school counselor or nurse. That is all. Very basic and simple and low cost. No medication involved.

At the bottom of the article, there are a bunch of other references to other articles as well.
