I have bipolar, major depression and social anxiety disorder. I am on abilify, lamictal (bipolar), prastiq and prozac (depression), xanax 3x a day for anxiety. I can relate to how you are feeling and what you are going through. I took ambien to sleep but when it stopped working my doctor put me on seroquel to help with the anxiety and not being able to sleep. It works but when you first start taking it, it leaves you feeling a bit hung over and its hard to bounce back from. I have taken it just for the anxiety during the day and it is longer acting then the xanax, ativan or klonipin. You might ask your doctor about it. It has differently made a difference with the anxiety. Hope this helps.

tracy it would of been nice to know how old u r. see panic attacks usually start around 15 and up my son did at that age too. he had them when he was as young as 7 but i could talk him out of them but the older he got it got harder. when he was 15 he was having them 5 times a day. he hated it and so did i. he told God he’d rather have a different affliction than these attacks. your brain is screaming DANGER,DANGER and you dont know what your sopposed to be afraid of. doc put him on two meds buspirone and lexapro which is a antianxiety med and a antidepressent, he swore he wasnt depressed thou. he still had the attacks but they were shorter and not so strong. he still complained about the pounding and fast heart beat and numb fingers and hard to breath, which is from breathing so fast. so the doc put him on inderal its a high blood pressure med that lowers his bp and his pulse. he was scared to take it at first becauce he thought it would drop his bp to low. but it did work and hes fine now unless he forgets his meds. hes 19 now and he does not socialize like he usto lest he embarrases himself if he does have an attack if you need and more help write me back my name is rita

There are 2 programs out there that are famous for treating Panic Attacks and Anxiety successfully.
They are: Panic Away and The Linden Method.

You may wonder, "Which one is better?" Don’t worry, you’re not the only one with that question.

The Panic Away program is more appropriate for people who can cope with their Panic Attacks or Anxiety well.
Linden Method is more for those who aren’t really good in coping their Panic Attacks or Anxiety well.

Check out the reference for the full comparison.
