I had a short panic attack, maybe 30 seconds to a minute long. I kind of enjoyed it.. is that normal?

My symptoms: chest tightening, dizziness/lightheadedness (if thats a word :P ) I looked up normal sypmtoms online and normal lengths. Usually they last for 30 minutes or so but it is not unusually to have short ones. Im a little worried that i enjoyed it.. Im also a little curious
I also have social anxiety disorder, general anxiety disorder, depression/mood disorder, & trichotillomania. Im aware of my symptoms & i know im not supposed to like it. Id rather you not act like i have no idea what im talking about.

I’ve never had a panic attack before.
Sorry.

I have an anxiety disorder and enjoying panic attacks are not normal. It sounds like you just got a rush and not a full panic attack.

For me (and many others) panic attacks give an "impending doom" feeling and they are not pleasant at all. It feels like you’re dying and everything is just wrong.

That is unusual and "abnormal". Panic attacks are terrifying, not thrilling. I’d rather get physically beat up than have one. I’ve had about a dozen in my life spanning 30 years. They suck. They’re triggered when something is very wrong in my life. Maybe it was something other than a panic attack.

Panic attacks are horrible. I’ve had them for 6 years but am doing much better dealing with them now. It’s like a huge adrenaline rush and then you become very tired. No, it’s not really all that great… especially for people who suffer from them.

you need to seek professional help if you just enjoyed your panic attack. no one in there right mind would enjoy feeling like they are about to puke, dizzy, sweating, can’t breathe, and being shaky. you need to be afraid of yourself and tell someone you enjoyed your attack. your sick in the head and need help. a normal person wouldn’t like them and hell no they wouldn’t enjoy them. they would be scared out of your freaking mind.
