i have recurrent chronic depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia, am i eligible for social securit
No, you are just a hypochondriac. This is all in your head and you are as depressed, anxious, and paniced as you choose to be.
You just have to unlearn the reasons you are choosing as you do and learn to choose to be happy.

Yes you are. I would contact the local Social Security office and tell them your diagnosis and find out how to collect. The depression makes you eligible. You’re also eligible if you’re an alcoholic believe it or not.

Why not get a job to distract you from your mind?
I certainly hope that’s not an eligible category for *PERMANENT* payouts when it’s all something that can be treated with psychotherapy, medication, etc.

depends on the severity of the disability. if your Dr thinks its too much for you to work then go for it. but i would read up on it first. Getting social security disability isn’t an easy nor quick process. you have to be unable to work for a total of 12 consecutive months can u do that? its kind of hard for alot of people. people need to work and make money to live. plus I hear that u get turned down the first time u apply. but that isn’t always the case like i said the severity is a big issue. I got it on my first try. and alot of people were like wow how did u do that. basically I’m very fudged up at times and cant hold a job. I am married and a mother to a 13 month old so i can afford not to work but can you? think about it first. secondly when and if u get ssdi your check will be a fraction on what your use to making. they take the number of years u worked and the wages you made into consideration. i worked 16 years from the age of 15 but mostly minimum wage and a bit more nothing over 10 an hour so my monthly check barely makes the rent if im by myself so take all these things into consideration. and try to find alternatives like meds and therapy. i do both but my meds change every 6 to 9 months. hope this helps.

Instead of giving up and trying to get social security, why not get better and enjoy life? I found a way out. I, too, had most of your symptoms (all but agoraphobia). I tried to end it twice. Two pshrinks told me I wouldn’t get better. I proved them wrong. Please read my story telling how I got out of the rut:

It depends if you have plenty of documentation and letters from doctors stating it is their medical opinon that you are so disabled by these disorders that you cannot support yourself. You can apply but most people usually don’t get it on the first try. You might want to invest in a disability lawyer that handles this type of case.
