Last night, i had a panic attack over something i found/found out. Does this mean i will start having them more often, or does it not mean anything?
Please help!
Thankyou :)

you may start having them or it could only be when you get really upset. something triggers you to have them and they are really uncomfortable. my bf has post traumatic stress disorder from being in iraq and he gets them now if hes in a large group of people or if hes drinking in a large group of people. we have been to the e.r. many times because he felt like he was going to die. ive had them too. all stress related. there are medicines you can take to calm yourself that the dr will prescribe you. my bf takes xanax and i take buspirone because im pregnant and its safe but when im not pregnant i can take something like xanax or clonopin or addavan. i was taking addavan before i got pregnant. they just help with anxiety attacks.

It’s okay. If this item of news was particularly shocking, you should have a panic attack! IF you’re concerned, google some info on panic attacks. I have had them but it wasn’t a result of something I found out, and they have happened more easily, but it hasn’t affected my everyday life at all. Good luck!

A panic attack is a sudden onset of terrifying symptoms that can last from minutes, hours, and it some cases for days, unprovoked panic attacks.
