I suffer with panic attacks?
I am planning to book a holiday to Spain for me and my partner the only problem is we both suffer from panic attacks. I am very apprehensive about going on a plane in case a panic attacks happens to either of us.
Should i be worried and how can the air hostesses help?
I have seen a psychologist and she had told me some breathing exercises to try but i am still worried.
Thank you
You should not be worried. You seem to be afraid of having a panic attack and THAT’S the main problem. I have to be quite blunt here as there is NOTHING that causes your panic attack. It’s not that bird or plane or car or the air hostesses or that strange feeling in your eyes, stomach, head, arms or heart. Only you! To think otherwise…to think that a certain room or situation (or planes) CAUSES you to have the attacks…is false.
Sure, I understand that when you are in a place or situation where you have felt these attacks before that you are aware of being there and fear THAT place or situation. BUT IT’S YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM being on a high state of alert. You must understand that it’s coming from you! You also are exaggerating those strange feelings that you are having in your body into MAJOR significance. You are boxing in your life more and more by HIDING from these! It’s NOT these places or situations or feelings, and I know that’s hard to accept. But this is where you change your attitude from HIDING to "Taking Real Action Against Panic Attack".
Go ahead with your holiday plans; believe in yourself, you will be fine. Nothing will happen to you. You have had panic attacks before and look what happen to you…NOTHING HAPPEN…you still here reading this. Don’t let panic attack take over your life.

The more analytical you are, the quicker it works. Find a good practitioner. This is something that will help you quickly because it’s about logic. It’s not concerned with the whys and wherefores.
Also, eat right, exercise consistently, practice mediation.
Remember, there is nothing frightening about "now". Live in the moment. Best to you and yours.
