I want to quit, is this a good idea?

I guess what i am asking is if my reasons are right to want to quit my job.
The job is not what the manager told me it would be. I am getting paid close to minimum wage and its only supposed to last until around christmas. I am working all weekend, every weekend even though the manager told me this would NEVER happen. I do not have the time i would like to work on school because I am working every day! My fiance will be getting unemployment pay due to there being lack of work in his union. This will pay our bills so its not like we will be in a horrible situation if i quit. This should only be until January or so when he will be able to go to work again. I need to work on my finals and last quiz’s of the semester to get my grades the best they can be! But i can’t do this if i work EVERY day. what do you think?
Problem is that I am very bad at conflict. I have panic attacks when i have to confront someone about things like this. THerefore i would probably just stop coming instead of calling and although i know this is a horrible thing to do, i don’t know what else to do.
Any advice would be great!

If you can really live without the job, then go ahead and quit to concentrate on school. However, if the job is paying for the education, then keep the job and there will be good times ahead after you graduate.

1. You are an adult. You don’t need to shy away from anyone anymore. Stand up to whomever and do what’s best for you.

2. Quit your job now. School is a full-time job as well as an investment. Some sacrifice now will pay off in the future. When you get a job with your degree, I can guarantee you won’t have to worry about minimum wage income ever again.
