I am 22 and this morning I went to see my doctor because I was literally feeling so anxious, I was having chest pains and I felt so light-headed and dizzy . So I went to see him and he took my blood pressure and it was like 67 over 42 or something like that. And than the next thing I remember was waking up in an ambulance. I was rushed to the hospital for losing consciousness in my doctor’s office. I passed blood tests and a whole bunch of stuff and it was determined that I fainted from anxiety and a panic attack and I met with a doctor who prescribed me ativan and I am already on Clonazepam and I go back to see my doctor on Wesnesday and I feel so dumb for fainting in my doctor’s office. He’s a good doctor and than but I am just trying to figure out what i can do to help reduce my stress. My stress is literally killing me. I live in Montreal and it is like -10 outside and I was so anxious, I was so hot and sweating. I need advice to relax. Seriously, my stress is killing me

Talk to your doctor. Ask for a referral for therapy, and consider learning some meditation techniques like Yoga. Meds are not the best way to go. They can help you in the short run, but you really need to learn to manage your stress.

Try to remember that EVERYTHING is temporary.
If things are tough now, then remember that they will change.

Learn the "Serenity prayer"
(you don;t need to believe in God for it to make sense)

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Meditate on that thought every day.
