i was unable to fly due to a heart problem / panic attack?
Lately i’ve been having long-term pain in my chest, it doesn’t come and go, i am taking medication for panic attacks, but when i tried to fly today my heart beat went up around 200bpm, i had chest pains, difficulty breathing and they wouldn’t allow me to fly. i get this feeling anytime i get nervous or even just excited (like about a birthday!!) the doctor has me on a 24 hour heart monitor, what do you think is the problem? i’m young, not pregnant, dont smoke, dont drink often.
just i’ve already been to the doctor and have medication for panic attacks, also been through therapy. but the pain in my chest is constant. say for half of every week/
i’m trying to say i have pain even without anxiety. fear or stress seems to add to it, but i also get something when i’m relaxed, just walking along.
Panic attacks can cause extreme aniexty and you can go to your doctor and ask for medication to help with and also go to counseling for these panic attacks. They can also be phobia’s that causes you to panic.

panic attack is not a heart problem it’s a mental problem from fear. you suffer from anxiety. Here is a questionnaire for anxiety. Also try yoga and stress management

Maybe you have a type of tachycardia. I had it and your hr gets up to 200bmp while doing nothing. Ask the doc.

No one can accurately diagnose a heart condition over the internet. If you think it might be your heart, then you should get an appointment as soon as possible with a cardiologist to do some tests. Given your age and description of yourself, theres a good chance it isn’t your heart, but it might still be a good idea to get it checked so you don’t worry about it. I think that anyone on a 24 hour heart monitor is going to become hypersensitive about any symptoms that might be their heart, and nearly anyone would probably develop anxiety if they don’t already have a problem with it. So – go to the doc, rule out the heart problems, and see if you can get off that monitor and quit focusing on your heart rate.
