Yep, that is an aniexty alright.

I suffer with severe panic attacks myself and what I do when it starts to happen is lay down and try to concentrate on something. I know the frightening feeling and it does feel very real. You aren’t going to die and you can’t die from a panic attack. You’re not going crazy either.

The worst that could happen is that you could possibly faint but you’ll come too after a while. Sometimes when I get one really bad my body shakes really badly, but it does pass.

Good luck dude, I know it can be scary.

Well first of all try not to think so much the more relax you are the better it will be for you. Panic attacks and anxiety happen from stress or when you experience something new. When you feel like your getting anxiety or a panic attack talk to yourself tell yourself"Everything will be alright, Its all in my head " The more you believe its all in your head and its stupid the faster it will go away. Close your eyes breath slowly. If you feel like your going to faint put your head in between your legs and relax. The best thing to do is to take up yoga or go for messages anything to make you relax and be stress free. Also take baths the more you keep busy the more you don’t think as much.If you need more information please don’t hesitate to ask me.

Sorry dude this is anxiety meds help but that is all they do it is only temporary relief, if you try and notice times, places or situations when these atacks occur that may go toward helping your situation.

Good luck

You hit the nail on the head when you said you need to get your mind off of it. All anxiety is, is worry. The shaking, the fast breathing, the nervousness, the palpitation…all the symptoms are caused by worry. If you want it to go away, you have to quit worrying about it. The reason you have a panic attack is, quite simply, because you are panicking. How many people have you seen having a panic attack who were calm? None. You have to quit caring about these attacks because if you don’t care about something it has no power over you.
When you start feeling anxious…start thinking about something else. In order to worry about something, you have to be thinking about it. So distract yourself. Read a book, call a friend. Retrain your brain to stop responding to these feelings. It takes a long time, but you have just gotten yourself into a pattern of thinking that makes you freak out. You can change it and make yourself stronger. Change the way you talk to yourself, the way you think, and it will all go away.
Don’t use drugs. You aren’t sick. There is nothing wrong with you except you let yourself get worked up really easily. Good luck.

I had panic attacks so bad that I couldn’t drive or go to work. I got over them without any medication at all. Just by changing how i responded to them and how I thought about them.
