My Panic Attack Solution

One more question for all of you medical scholars out there. There was a method I read about on the net some years ago, that involved inducing panic attacks in test subjects who had no history of anxiety. The method used a drug that inhibited a neurotransmitter that has a calming effect on the brain, the so called " mellow molecules". All of these test subjects had to be removed from the test, and, treated with," you guessed it ", Valium. Yes, Valium the medication that is going to destroy western civilization, or so they keep telling me. " Hay cousin", alcohol hasn’t brought down the house yet, and it requires no note from your Doctor, you can buy as much hard liquor as you can afford. Yes my friends the highways and, byways of this country are choked with wild eyed drunks in large 4 wheel drive pick-up trucks, just looking for other smaller vehicles to crush. No not even this will bring this country down, it will be brought to it’s knees by Wal-Mart and, Chinese manufactured goods!
The drug used in these test were [GABA] inhibitors. With out this amino acid derivative, we all would be slaves to the limbic system of our brains. Condemned to live out our lives in darkness and fear

While not familiar with the drug, I would imagine that it increased certain neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine and epinephrine to induce a highly aggitated, aroused state. This is speculation, as I have not read anything about inducing panic with drugs aside from illicit drugs.
