I experienced a panic attack a long time ago and I called the ambulance because I was afraid I was going to die.. They hooked me up to a machine and my heart was beating at 170 beats per minute.. The ambulance technician looked and told me that people’s hearts explode at 120 beats per minute.. My body was literally losing its life while I was lying in that ambulance.. My skin color was changing, my hair was getting frizzier, and my vision started changing. So I got to the hospital and when I did they hooked my body up my IVs so that my body would get vitamins to support my increased body functions.. It worked and then they gave me a shot to put me asleep. I woke up back to normal but ever since then my body has been getting weaker and weaker again but not as fast as it was like in the ambulance truck.. Im not able to visually see and feel it.. Its getting worser over the course of every 3 weeks.. My hair, my skin color, my vision has all been changing and they arent stopping.. Im also becoming fatigued. I am taking vitamins. I take a bodybuilder supplement vitamin called Universal Animal Pak with over 55 ingredients and nothing is changing… Did that panic attack trigger some sort of other problem in my health?

Oh Lord – I know – it’s horrible. Your heart won’t explode though – although it feels like it. It beats very shallowly although rapidly. You’re actually not in any danger – although I know that seems totally impossible at this point!

Hard to say why you had the panic attack. Could be physical, I suppose – something you took with your weight lifting things which has upset your electrolytes. Or it can be purely psychological. It is unbelievable what psychology can do.

You might be coming out into what they used to call a "manifest neurosis" – not sure what they call it these days. This is where something in your "forgotten"past is pushing it’s way toward consciousness – this seems to cause panic – and about all you can do is talk about it with a good psychologist – takes a while to figure out that you AREN’T actually in danger.

Ok first thing… the ambulance tech needs to be FIRED. The target heart rate for exercise is 140 bpm or even more. 120 bpm is nothing, not dangerous in any way. 170 is fast, but not even near tachycardia. It feels terrible but it is not dangerous. I do know what you are talking about… I had panic attacks for 6 yrs and after I finally had my very last one, it took some time for my body to feel ‘normal’ again. After all that time I wasn’t even sure what normal felt like. You are still in a panic loop. You need to NOT be taking animal pak. Too strong and it is over stimulating you, making you feel crappy. B vitamins are the way to go. Get Emergen C powder and take it 2-3 times a day. I am not making fun of you are calling you dumb… I went through the same stuff you are describing. You would probably already feel much better if the ambulance tech had not told you such a far fetched tale. Stop taking animal pak, and start taking Emergen C. Write me anytime and I’ll help you if I can. I have not had any more panic attacks once I broke the loop, and I know many others that have done the same. It can be accomplished and your body is just fine.

PS See this chart..showng that a 120bpm heartrate is totally FINE and healthy.

Age Target Maximum
20 years 100–170 bpm 200 bpm
25 years 98–166 bpm 195 bpm
30 years 95–162 bpm 190 bpm
35 years 93–157 bpm 185 bpm
40 years 90–153 bpm 180 bpm
45 years 88–149 bpm 175 bpm
50 years 85–145 bpm 170 bpm
55 years 83–140 bpm 165 bpm
60 years 80–136 bpm 160 bpm
65 years 78–132 bpm 155 bpm
70 years 75–128 bpm 150 bpm

No tech would tell you that a human heart will explode at 120 beats per minute. Check online to see that heartrates during aerobic activity can go pretty hard at times. And, no, your body declining is not caused by a panic attack.
