So, this past week, I was given a form by my employer, saying for me to sign to give them consent to talk with my Psychiatrist. Today, I told them I would not sign. They want to know what Medications I take.

Ok, I just finished work at 5:00 p.m. Just before I left, HR department called me. Asked me why I didn’t sign. I told them I don’t feel comfortable. So they told me, "Alright, we will be getting our lawyers involved"

Now, this has been on-going process, because of my Human Rights case against them, more details are in other questions I have posted.

Ok, the types of meds I take are , Dexedrine for ADHD (been so for 22 years), Atarax (for daytime Anxiety), and Chlorpromazine (for Nocturnal Anxiety/ Panic Attacks). I started the human rights case cause a Manager (who is still there), kept harassing me, and then they discriminated against me, and said comments about my family, death, suicide to get my attention.

I would give details if I had to in court of my meds. :(

Let they get their lawyers involved. They don’t have a right to their medical records. This retaliation. Calll the EEOC or your state Human Rights Devision and revise your complaint. If they do get medical information from you, they need to give you a confidentiality agreement.

I think you need to have your own attorney advise you. If you don’t have an attorney, you need to get one. First consultations are free. This is much more legally complicated than can be answered by anyone on the web.

That’s rather insane. Your manager does NOT have the right to do that to you. I think that you should get some legal help, and remember that your manager is out of hand, this isn’t your fault for not telling them. Try finding some legal support, and see what advice they give, with whether or not you should proceed with charging your manager.
I honestly wish you good luck :)

Make detailed notes about all of your negative experiences with this company, especially anything involving harassment. Also make copies of any emails, memos etc, and take them to a safe place (outside of the office)

If they continue to push or threaten you take them to court.
