PANIC and ANXIETY ATTACKS?PLEASE HELP!?

i have had panic attacks for 4yrs.i have been to the Dr. many times but they just want to put me on meds.i dont like to be on anti depressants and that seems to be all that they will give me.the attacks are putting alot of stress on my relationship with my bf because i never want to go any where and i get depressed about it i have also lost touch with friends because it has made me so anti-social.the Dr. told me i have a chemical imbalance.

i just want to be the out going person i used to be.if anyone has any advice on how to get rid of my panic and anxiety attacks PLEASE HELP.

talk to ur bf when u feel one coming on tell him how u feel ask him to hold u tell u its ok also go to health food shop get a spray that u can spray in ur mouth its a natural calmer its amazing iu use to use it and so did my best mate we both very calm stress free people good luck u will get over it aklso get a book called survivers guide to living with anxiety its so helpful trust me i been thru lots been to hospital bc of them almost sent to mental home but i got over it myself without meds only help of my mrs that spray and that book also candles and relaxing music and deep breathing works wonders to calm urself down close ur eyes and relax listen to ur fav song something soothing

anxiety and panic attack have its root.which means something happen before that’s why you fall into it .wat situation will you have the attack,getting out of it is not easy ,best way is to face and face the situation or sometimes a lexotan before you know you are in the sitaution face and face it till one day you get numb with it

well let me say this don’t we all want to be normal again of course we do when we fall into something we never had or been threw before and when the docs just hand out meds like candy were just SCREWED! and have to move on. yeah i suffer with this crap everyday going on 3 months woohooo!!yeah life sucks now. but i don’t get the panic attacks no more without meds.

If you do not like the meds you are on, then discuss it with your doctor and have them changed. If you feel you need some more intense observation, perhaps you should look into going to a hospital inpatient treatment.
I have gone though the same thing, and it is hard to lose friends because you are not doing well. You just have to keep in mind, right now, you have to work on yourself. Getting yourself well, and finding the treatment that works for you. The boyfriend and other friends have to be secondary right now. You have to work on yourself, find a therapy that helps you, find the meds that will assist you. Good luck, I know it is hard.
