Does anyone else experience a muscle pain or dull achy sensation in their arm during and after a panic attack? I’ve been really anxious all week and my arm bothers me every time I get like this, I know it must be muscle tension b/c Icy Hot makes it feel better.
I also get occasional pins and needles feelings in my hand.

Yes, that’s just part of the "fight or flight" response kicking in. Blood rushing to the legs and head, adrenaline pumping round your system and all that.

If you worry it is something else, it won’t help you get rid of the panic attack, obviously. It isn’t something else. Just the body responding to (an imaginary) threat.

Controlled breathing from the diaphragm. If it doesn’t make you too self-conscious, cup your hands around your mouth too – you don’t need more oxygen but less.

happened to me all the time when I went through a severe phase of anxiety. My arms always bothered me. They felt the same sensations you described

the occasional pins and needles in your hand can also be a pinched nerve
