I had a reaction to medication & have had a panic attacks. I stopped the medication.I get nervous& anxious especially at night. I end up walking around the houseall night. Anybody have any remedies to get thru this

What meds were you on before???? I have severe anxiety/panic attacks and it took a while for me to get the right meds and dosage. I currently take Zoloft 100mg and xanex .25 mg a day. You should find a doctor that will work with finding the right meds and dosage for you.

One thing I did learn, try holding your breath for a count of 10. You feel like you must take that breath before you reach 10,but try not to. Once you have reached 10 blow out very lightly. This helps me when I am driving. My physicists taught me this method.

Dont smoke weed. Talk to your doctor about the panic attacks. If you get another panic attack head outside for some fresh air and find someone to talk too that can calm you down.

Good luck.

I had panic attacks several years ago that made it impossible for me to sleep. I would get up at night and move from room to room trying to fall asleep without any luck. I have found that zoloft 50mg is perfect for me. If your doctor prescribes anything, be sure to give it a week to make any difference. It takes that long. Some docs will give you a prescription such as trazedone or attivan to get you thru the first week along with the daily zoloft. Your family doctor can either prescribe the meds, or refer you to another doc who can. I feel fine now. Best of luck to you!
