You probably have ‘Bipolar Disorder/Manic-Depression’ and ‘OCD’. Encourage you to see a Psychiatrist to get on medication ‘and’ pcik up the book: "The Mindful Way Through Depression: Freeing Yourself From Chronic Unhappiness" By: Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD. Mindfulness, a simple yet powerful way of paying attention to your most difficult emotions and life experiences, can help you break the cycle of chronic unhappiness once and for all, that you may experience greater levels of happiness. In ‘The Mindful Way through Depression’, it is explained why our usual attempts to "think" our way out of a bad mood or "just snap out of it" leads us deeper into the downward spiral of depression. Through very insightful lessons-drawn from both Mindfulness and Cognitive Therapy – Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD demonstrates how to sidestep the negative habits that lead to unhappiness and despair, including self-blame and rumination so you can effectively face life’s challenges with much resilience.

do you feel like you use the computer alot?

if it helps, you’re not the only one (who uses a computer, meaning there’s a lot of people who feel out of place in real life but if you recognize each others quirks like something you’ve noticed online….identifying with others even on a very general basis like using computers help).

Try reorganizing things…

…from your room to the icons on your desktop.

As a matter of fact, it might help you to arrange your browsers bookmarks, rename icons, compile a bunch of music play lists for different moods your feeling…

And it’s a plus if you burn a lot of music CDs, print pages of data, anything you can materialize by logically consistent matters that make ‘real’ life feel better.

Participate in a number of online discussions…..

…because your interactions in ‘this’ reality spill over in face-2-face reality.

Hi Stephani,

I do not know your age, but if you are under 18, I am suggesting that you tell your parents what is going on with your racing thoughts, depression and panic attacks. If you don’t get anywhere with help from them seek counseling with your guidance counselor at school. These are serious symptoms you have described. Seek the guidance of your Family Doctor or Mental Health Professional ASAP.

You can also call the County that you live in Crisis Intervention telephone hot line for advice of what you could do. Don’t be afraid they are there to help you, and if you don’t talk to a professional, your symptoms could get worse!

There are quite a number of symptoms that you are describing that would certainly require the advice of a Doctor that specializes in Mental Health issues. It would be a good thing to get a check up with your family physician to rule out any medical issues. But with what you describe it might be wise to consult with a Psychiatrist who specializes in the handling of the symptoms you have. They are also MD’s.

Counseling or Therapy can also help as well!

I hope you are proactive on some of this advice. I understand that you are struggling right now and need help.

Peace and Good Luck in choosing the right advice to help you!
