Rescue Remedy (natural anxiety reliever)?
Good morning,
I am 20, female, and for the last few months I have been suffering quite bad stress and anxiety. I currently have a health problem, which has been making me feel very anxious about it, and also I have been sorting alot of peoples problems, and the anxiety has just built up. Yesterday I was in a state of panic, and having a panic attack for about 3 hours, which was horrible.
This morning I feel alot better. My Mum has given me a 20ml bottle of Rescue Remedy. I read that you can put 4 drops in water, and take at intervals, how many times is that then, that you can take it? Also, I have taken the method this morning of putting 4 drops on my tongue, how many times can you do that a day? As it doesn’t say you can take it that way multiple times…
How long does it take to have effect for anxiety and worry?
Thanks!! xxxx

Im 14 and i used to have really bad anxiety and rescue remedy worked great for me. I had the spray version and you would spray two squirts on your tongue and it for me almost instantly relieve the worry and anxiety, I don’t think there is really a limit though to how much you take i would just do it whenever you feel anxious. Obviously don’t take TOO much because there is alcohol in it.
Hope this helped.

Hello, my doctor gave me the same stuff, except it was in a spray bottle. He told me I can take it as often as needed. I have also heard putting it under your tongue, but I put it on my tongue. It honestly didn’t do much for me, but my doctor told me to supplement Vitamins B6 and Biotin. He also had me taking 5HTP supplements at night before bed. For me, the supplements were much more affective. You can buy them at any health food store, or vitamin store. The best way is to cope with your problems, which I am learning to right now because I have extreme anxiety from bad experiences lately.

You know, stress is just a part of life.
It can get worst only if you allow it to.
As for the Rescue Remedy, I don’t believe in it.
I too bought it last year when I was under a lot of stress at work. I thought it’d help, but it really didn’t. Who knows. Maybe it does work on some people. Use it with faith. They say that is when things do you good.
Anyway, yeah, you can take up to 4 sprays about every two hours. But what really is relieving the stress is the alcohol it contains (the Rescue Remedy). I don’t believe in the organic stuff it has. It really does not have anything organic in it.
Might as well drink a beer.
You know, for the stress you are having, just take deep breaths, sit on the floor and close your eyes slowly. Breathe through your nose. Nothing can get to you because it is your mind, your body, and your actions. Keep saying that to yourself. You are stronger that you think. Don’t let anyone else’s humbug get to you. If things are hitting you this bad it’s only because you are a nice, genuine person. You are an easy target, and a very valuable person. Don’t let anyone take that away from you and take advantage of you for being loving and caring. Don’t let anyone have the best of you.
Try dancing, moving the body around. Exercise is the best stress reliever.
Good luck to you.

I don;t know anything about this Rescue Remedy…but i do know:
First- STOP worrying about other peoples problems! In order to help other people you have to make yourself well first.
Secondly- Try a hot bath, get a massage, write in a journal, even masturbation can relax you.
Lastly- Break one of your own personal rules. Don’t go to the gym one day, or eat a couple of cupcakes.
Don’t worry so much.
