schizophrenia diagnosis?
i had…
delusions of ebing in love w. a dead celeb
obsession with them
looked for them, thought they gave me signs and signals
for over 6 months… possibly 9 months
then i saw them all the time etc. closed eye hallucinations too and it felt real until it became a problem such as i thought my dreams were about him and him telling me things to do..and then it turned into scary things..not the person anymore but i went out with a few friends one night and was shaking for no reason hardly ate that much or slept and felt horrible..suicidal eventually..and saw visions of a chef..persons..flashes..bugs..myself.. etc. while driving and i felt helpless until i pulled out of it and went back to college..i still find that i see things that arent there but i learned to ignore them.. what is it that i should do? sopmetimes when im falling asleep i still see close eyeed things or things in the dark im 23 now this all happened mostly at 21
ive had a history or social anxiety and panic attacks thats it
I’m going to say it sounds like residual schizophrenia to me.
Residual is the easiest type to treat, because from what I have read, it doesn’t keep haunting constantly. That means you can live a perfectly normal life with medicine, and are perfectly capable of living a life without medicine.
Social anxiety and panic attacks do go along with schizophrenia.
At any rate, I’d go see a doctor. Mental illnesses are serious and can cause unwanted hardships for a person. If you don’t feel comfortable going straight to a psychiatrist, then go to your physician or even just a psychologist.
