i was really really upset last nite and started crying after getting home from quitting my job, however whilst in floods of tears my boyfriend was trying to comfort me and i found it really hard to breath to the point where i started to panic thinking i was going to pass out! however with my boyfriends help i managed to control my breathing but then i had a really bad headache and felt sick for the rest of the evening! do u think this was a panic attack?

That definitely sounds like a mild panic attack. If they start happening more frequently and begin to seriously affect your life then you should talk to a doctor. Other then that there isnt much they will do for you.

That definitely sounds like a panic attack. I get them too and I know they can be scary.

If it happens again, I’d recommend you see your doctor. I hope it doesn’t though.

From personal experience, this does not sound like a panic attack, although different people have different symptoms. You can feel light headed and suffer palpatations though. I think if this happens again, with the symptoms you had, you should see a doctor.

I’ve had anxiety issues all my life, and doctors persistantly tell me to simply relax and try yoga or somethig of the sort.
