I go to therapy once a week for panic attacks, which she’s seen me have them in the car. What signs so I need to look out for, to see if she needs to speak to someone. She’s 9.

Some signs to look for if there might be a problem:
changes in behavior
changes in appetite (eating excessively or not eating enough)
differences in sleeping pattern (sleeping too much or having trouble falling asleep)
lack of energy

I hope this helps.

I would ask your therapist or ask a child psychologist.

being her mom, you’ll be able to tell if there’s something not quite right with her. you’ll have the usual symptoms if something wrong like moodiness, unexplained behaviors, etc. but you’ll know in your gut if something isn’t quite right. also, it’s just best to ASK her. if you have an open and honest relationship, she should be able to come to you if she feels like somethings wrong. just check in with her every so often and ask how she’s doing and if there’s anything she needs to talk about. let her know that option is always there for her.
