Whats a good home remedy for anxiety and panic attacks!!?
stay away from food that give u sudden bursts of energy such as to many grapes or chocolate or too much caffeine. anxiety is caused via nervous system and all these types of food hav a extremely positiv effect on the nervous system. makes u feel ontop of the word, but all of a sudden, once the rush dissapears, the bosy gets confused … hence anxiety creeps.
Also, when u get the feeling, breathe in real deep for abt 5seconds, and when u release ur breath imagine all the negativity flowing out of ur system thru ur mouth. its very good for me.
Hope it helps hun. good luck x

Ginger. You can get it from the supermarket and just eat a little bit, it works, especially if you feel nausea.
Aside from that I always notice that multi-vitamins and things like berocca help to reduce anxiety.

Go into a dark room and chill. Try to take slow deep breaths.

when i am in dire need of some silence in my mind– i always count on tylenol pm. it works effectively, and sometimes i think it is better to sleep away your problems then lay there afraid to death… call me crazy!
if you go this route- be careful bc in my opinion it can become habit forming to pop pills (tylenol, ect) at the slightest hint of stress. just remember that a little stress is healthy for you, but if its to the point when the stress is interfering with your life in general— thats the time to quit the tylenols and get some help. noone needs a pill poppn habit to add to their anxieties and worries.
good luck

no caffeine! caffeine, choolate and smoking, along with foods high in sugar or fat have been proven to increase anxiety. I think they make an over the counter anxiety medicine, but becareful most of them just cause sleepiness. If it s a Real issue that is interuppting your everyday activities you may need to talk to your doctor or a therapist about a better solution. Good luck
