Whats the best way to deal with panic attacks?
I woke up this morning really freaking out, part of me wonders if its worrying about the blood test I had yesterday and the results of it – I could possibly be anemic.
Am also in a bit of debt – which is sort of manageable but its really playing on my mind and I just got really scared this hasnt happened to me for a long time I went to the doctors last week because of chest pains and shortness of breath – I attribute that to stress but my doctor wanted me to have a blood test for anemia I suppose now I’m eating differently as opposed to almost starving myself as I did a few weeks back my thoughts are clearer but I dont know if all this the panic attacks, the chest pains and shortness of breath are all linked.
How can I prevent this in future cos it was horrible I wasnt able to think straight.
It already sounds like you are working on it by eating better.
Try to find ways of letting out the stress you are feeling like
taking walks, sports or a hobby, or go out with or spend
time with friends and family. It should help some. Also you
might check with your doctor on how to get rid of or deal
with the panic attacks and see if he/she has any other
suggestions. Good luck.

If your main concern is around "panic attacks", i.e. acute severe anxiety states, the most single important contribution you can make toward preventing their recurrence will be to work on minimizing your anticipatory fear and as much as possible normalizing (neutralizing) your attitude toward panic states. Paradoxically, the more you set out to "prevent" your panic actively, the more it will be likely to dominate your life. Conversely the more "allowing" you manage to become in your attitude, the less likely you will be to manifest in panic states. This is the central principle to appreciate. Depending on circumstances, It may be possible for you to learn to apply it effectively for yourself. Or you may choose to get relevant professional support to do so. All the best!

keep calm
being anemic is not a disaster
take your needed iron from natural sources ( apple is favoured specially in early morning before taking you breakfast )
inc. your fluid intake to increase your blood volume not to make a stress on your heart
