Is there a difference? And please explain to me what each one is? What is a panic attack? What is a anxiety attack? Please use detail.

ok they are not the same thing believe me I have them both and have since I was 16 years old and they are completely different.. A panic attack is when you feel very disoriented and you actually just get it out of no where and you start panicing about everything but you can’t actually concentrate on one thing it is like you are having a heart attack all the same thingsa happen, your tongue will go numb, you have trouble swalling, your arm may go numb, you can’t feel your tongue all these really weird things and it is hard to get your self to stop them cause you really feel like you are loosing yuor mind, when you have an anxiety attack, you are less restricted it can be anything from your heart racing, to feeling dizzy, and being very nerved up to the point you go into a anxiety attack which you start to sweat, you think your heart is going to stop beating even though it is beating a 100 miles a minute and you can have the same as a panic which means your tongue may go numb or arm but they are completely different feeling, anxiety can be from alot of worrying and it leads up to that a panic just comes from nowhwere and you can’t stop it at all once it starts and you literally feel like you are going to loose your mind it races so fast and anxiety you think about all these things but you can think and be coherant a panic you are not really. I have had them both for 14 years and I take medication for when I have them and it takes about 20 minutes to work and then they go away immedietaly and having them helps me to not have them if that makes sense, so if you are having these symptmes go to a doctor there is no need for someone to have to go through life feeling like that it can make you very depressed and feel crazy, so go get some xanax or something to help for when you have them,

Not sure at all.
I think one is from nerves break downs and the other is from fear.

People use the word to refer to the same thing. There is general anxiety–Just feeling anxious and worried all the time. And then there are panic attacks, which are very intense, fast feelings of panic.. They can last a few minutes, but it can feel like a long time. Sometimes it feels like you can’t breathe, or like everything is spinning, or you can’t stop crying…

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It helps one deal with a tense situation in the office, study harder for an exam, keep focused on an important speech. In general, it helps one cope. But when anxiety becomes an excessive, irrational dread of everyday situations, it has become a disabling disorder.

Panic disorder is characterized by unexpected and repeated episodes of intense fear accompanied by physical symptoms that may include chest pain, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness or abdominal distress. These sensations often mimic symptoms of a heart attack or other life-threatening medical conditions. As a result, the diagnosis of panic disorder is frequently not made until extensive and costly medical procedures fail to provide a correct diagnosis or relief.
