Which of these is better for anxiety and panic attacks? Bach’s Rescue Remedy or GABA?
Has anyone tried either Bach’s Rescue Remedy or the GABA for anxiety? Was it effective? Which is better?
I currently take 100mg of gabapentin (brand name NEURONTIN) on an as-needed basis. While I’ve never had a full-blown panic attack, I have had on-going general anxiety. I am told that the gabapentin doesn’t stay in your bloodstream for more than a day or so (which is good), and that you would have to take a tremendously high dose (like 3000mg or more) in order to overdose. Whenever I feel on-edge, I take 100mg… during times of extremely high stress I take 200mg. Works wonders for me… only negative is that the pill takes about 30 minutes to start working (as opposed to diazepam, which I find starts working after 15 minutes).

I have not tried either of these for anxiety, I am taking Valium for my anxiety/panic attacks! That seems to work just fine and I have no problems it is a fast working medication and it works every-time!
