why do i have panic attacks and how can i prevent them?

btw is it normal that when they occur i’m never panic-ing ( dunno how to spell that) but just bending over really fast or sumthing like that?!

Bending over should not cause panic attacks – How do you know that what you are experiencing are true panic attacks? If what you are having is dizziness or heart palpitations – that does not necessarily mean panic attacks — without more information we can not help you – but perhaps you should discuss your symptoms with your Dr. – and he would be able to assess whether these are panic attacks or something else.

Panic attacks are VERY common. I would highly recommend checking out all the info on http://www.EmoFree.com. It’s free, you can learn it quickly, and it really, really helps with panic attacks.

The bending over thing *might* be a low blood pressure thing. I am not a doctor, but I routinely black out when standing up to quickly and my doctors said it’s due to adrenal gland insufficiency and really low blood pressure.

The best thing you can do is see a doctor, the chances are he will send you to see a professional who can guide you through steps on preventing panic attacks, and if necessary, medication MAY be needed. I’ve been there, its not good, but trust professionals (they’ve dealt with it all before)

thats not a panic attack a panic attack is when you think your going to die and you freak out.

do you drink alcohol? smoke weed ? hard drugs ? some people get them from drinking or smoking pot or hard drugs .

plus are you the type of person who can’t except reality and think they not real and stuff people like that get panic attacks too.
