Wierd things that happen during sleep.?
About 4 times this year, when I start to fall asleep, I go out and then almost immediately I wake up and feel as though I can’t think and my mind is blank and my body tingles all over. There have been 2 times of the 4 that I can’t move my body . When I can move after a couple of seconds, my body is tingly and my heart is racing. Could this be sleep paralysis or nocturnal panic attacks? Or perhaps both?
It definitely sounds like you have dealt with some sleeping problems. You should do a search on night terrors and parasomnias. They are very interesting and it might give you more insight. If it is disconcerting and if you are having fatigue, then you could have your doctor get you in for a sleep study. They could determine the cause of this through a good sleep lab and perhaps even help you.

It is a problem that usually affects girls. However, it is thought to be a state known as hyperstasis of the regulatory thyrome.
Those who have reported it have been survivors. It is not known how many non survivors there have been since non have been reported.
A glass of milk often helps as does a spoonful of dry muesli.
For the tingling the most usual suggestion is the application of alpha IIa omega oil, originating from the sturgeon.
Panic attacks have bee ruled out because there should be nothing in bed with you to cause panic.
The biggest risk is the mind remaining blank. Unfortunately many of the unreported cases are unreported because there has been no report of them.

I’ve had those before. It seems to be a pretty common experience for a lot of people. I’m thinking it’s sleep paralysis.
