I just moved to orlando, FL to go to school and im so stressed out. I haven’t had anxiety for awhile but with the stress of school and everything, I’m having the worst panic attacks and anxiety i have every had and need something to get me through it. I don’t know where else to go but a walk in clinic because i dont have the money to go to a doctor and i need some quick relief. If anyone can help me please

A walk in clinic IS a Dr. and the prices are the same. And unless you have a current prescription I am not sure they will just give you that medication. They may want to prescribe an anti anxiety medication that is longer acting and not a quick fix because most meds like that are habit forming and a cover up for the original problem.

depending on your insurance, the prices for a walk in clinic will vary. my copay for a walk in is 20 dollars. if you dont have insurance it could be pricey. i have gone to a walk in clinic to get klonipins and succeeded. however, they dont like to do it frequently they prefer if you only go to them once and then go to a psychiatrist for prescriptions from there. if you have a history with drugs and alcohol abuse they most likely wont give u the prescription for them..so if you do have that kinda history, i would not tell them. they are also highly addicting thats another reason they dislike giving them out, but its easy to get it if it is your first time going there ;] thanks hope this helped.
